Private rooms don’t cost a lot more. We absolutely love the Suite Room with it’s balcony bathtub. This is one of the most affordable bathtub suites we have come across in Thailand!

Poshtel is beautifully located in the Phuket Old Town with its historical buildings and boutique coffee shops. It is close to the Sunday Walking street market, Monkey Hill and Khao Rang.

2 Wayla Villa

On the cheaper end of our hotels, Wayla Villa is a stylish, clean and comfortable hotel. Located in the Mai Khao bay area, this is a convenient option for your first night in Phuket – the airport is only 10 minutes away. You can also visit the iconic Mai Khao Bay and see airplanes flying low over the beach. Wayla Villa has rooms ranging from £30 – £70.

Check out Agoda for regular deals on this hotel. A massive advantage of this hotel is the impressive range of comfortable spacious suites and room options. They also have a large outdoor swimming pool. Wayla Villa is located in Mai Khao bay around 1km from the beach. They have a free cancellation policy.

3 Xinlor House

Xinlor House is a boutique Phuket old town hotel with a lot of charm and character. Located right next to the Sunday Walking Street market and very close to Khao Rang and Monkey Hill this is a great location to explore Phuket Old Town.

Nearby you will find boutique coffee shops, Thai street food, historical buildings and restaurants from around the world. Being a small property the range of rooms is fairly limited. Rooms normally range between £60 – £90 ($80 – $120). Watch out for deals of up to 60% off on Agoda. This is one of the best hotels in Phuket for charm and character.

4 OZO Phuket

Phuket resorts for families Ozo hotel

The OZO Phuket is our TOP PICK hotel in Phuket for families. They have 3 outdoor swimming pools, a water slide, kids water play area and an outdoor playground. The OZO restaurant serves a fusion of Asian and Western dishes and also has a kids menu and high chairs.

They have a range of rooms and suite – some of the larger family suites are super well designed for families. Black out blinds, a range of lighting options and an innovative environmental control system. Beds are super comfortable and they can also include a cot for babies.

Phuket family resort Ozo hotel

OZO Phuket is also excellently located right next to the beautiful Kata beach (one of our favorites in Phuket). Rooms range from £60 – £190 per night ($80 – $260). Keep an eye on Agoda for regular deals and discounts of up to 60%.

Best of all, the staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. If you want luxury, style and a warm hospitable welcome to Thailand – we highly recommend OZO Phuket.

5 Lady Naya Villas

Welcome to the world of 5 star hotels in Phuket. Lady Naya Villas earns its 5 stars. The Villas are beautifully designed, styled and furnished to a high level. We love the range of luxurious room and villa options here. You can even get a villa with a private swimming pool at Lady Naya Villas. Rooms range from £60 – £200 per night ($80 – $270). Watch out for discounts on Agoda.

We recommend that you pay a little more for breakfast when you book. They also have a great FREE cancellation policy on Agoda too. Lady Naya Villas are also beautifully situated in the south of Phuket a couple of kilometers from the Nai Harn Beach (a great spot for families and hippies). It is a short drive from the Karon View point and the black rock view point – an awesome spot for trekking.

It is also not too far from Rawai and Kata bay. The main downside of this hotel is the distance from the airport making transfer a little more expensive. They can arrange an airport transfer for 1,000 baht (around £20 or or $26) for up to 2 people. For more people you will need to book a van which costs 1,600 baht (around £32 or $40) and can accommodate larger groups.

6 SKYVIEW Resort Patong

If you want to find hotels in Phuket that are close to the nightlife – Patong is the spot for you. The SKYVIEW Resort is one of the best hotels in Patong. SKYVIEW is a trendy, clean and stylish property. Rooms at the SKYVIEW Resort normally range from £60 – £300 ($80 – $400).

Watch out for AMAZING discounts of up to 75% on Agoda. We love the free cancellation policy (if you book on Agoda).  We also recommend that you pay a little more for breakfast. Kids under 5 stay for free. The main downside of SKYVIEW resort Patong is the distance from the beach. SKYVIEW is located a couple of kilometers from Patong Beach. Its location on a hill affords an excellent view over Patong town and of the jungle hills.

7 Navatara Phuket Resort

The Navatara Phuket Resort is a luxurious east asian style hotel. Rooms at the Navatara Phuket Resort typically range between £100 – £210 ($130 – $280). Watch out on Agoda for the best rates. You can also have one child under 8 years old stay for free at the Navatara Phuket Resort. The Navatara has a large outdoor swimming pool and sun lounge area.

The Navatara Phuket Resort is located on Rawai beach in the south of Phuket. It is close to Rawai beach, Promthep Cape, Nai Harn Bay, the Black Rock viewpoint and the Karon viewpoint. The main downside of The Navatara Resort is the distance from the airport. This makes transfer more expensive. The Navatara can arrange airport transfer for 1,000 baht 1-3 people (roughly £20) or 1,500 baht for 3-6 people (around £30).

8 Renaissance Phuket Resort Spa

This is one of our overall TOP PICK hotels in Phuket. You only need to look at the pictures to see why. Renaissance Phuket Resort Spa has everything you would hope for in a luxurious, decadent 5 star hotel. Spacious, stylish and comfortable rooms, an outdoor pool, fitness suite, spa and much more. We love the beach side location of the hotel, the stylish bars and a range of restaurants offering Thai and international cuisine.

They even have a kids playroom and kids club. They offer a range of activities and entertainment options. Rooms range from £150 – £200 ($200 – $270) – impressive for a resort of this calibre. Keep an eye out for amazing deals on Agoda. They even offer free cancellation until close to your stay if you book on Agoda. The only downside of Renaissance Resort is its location in the northwest corner of Phuket.

There are lots of resorts in the area – but this isn’t a great location for exploring local life in Phuket and enjoying street food. It is quite a long way from the night life of Patong and the history and culture of the old town.

9 COMO Point Yamu

The COMO Point Yamu is genuinely one of the most stunning resorts in Phuket. However, this does come with a hefty price tag. Rooms typically range between £340 – £1,600 per night ($460 – $2,200). This is a lot – especially in Thailand where your money goes far. However, now could be the perfect time to snatch an amazing offer here. Keep an eye on Agoda for deals of up to 60%. So why is COMO point Yamu so special?

Firstly it is absolutely stunning inside and out. The resort has an aesthetic theme of cyan Maritime interiors. Light airy spaces, large windows for natural light and intentional design to enable you to connect with the stunning location and ocean views. The COMO Point Yamu has all of the facilities and amenities that you would hope for in a decadent 5 star resort. They have a range of restaurants serving a range of decadent international cuisine. They have a very wide range of rooms and suites available to meet every traveler’s needs (even compared to other 5 star resorts the range is uniquely impressive). The COMO point at Yamu is also a great choice for families.

They have kids play areas and kids clubs and the rooms are easily large enough to comfortably accommodate a family. We particularly love the infinity pools with stunning ocean views. Like most large resorts, this isn’t the best choice if you want to embrace local Thai culture and try lots of street food. If you’re looking for an amazing place to recover and revitalize surrounded by stunning natural beauty, the COMO point at Yamu might be the place for you. Check out the COMO Pool Villa for a genuinely superlative accommodation.
