OK this is a bit subjective. There are PLENTY of strawberry farms to choose from in the Cameron Highlands. If you want to visit the MAIN STRAWBERRY farm – then Big Red is the place for you. Located just outside Brinchang – this farm is extensive and has lots to see and do. They even use hydroponic growing methods here – this is an innovative agricultural technique that uses water rather than soil as a base for growing plants and crops.

If you are looking for somewhere more chilled out and low key – check out The Healthy Strawberry Farm. This place was surprisingly peaceful and calm – EVEN during a very busy Malaysian public holiday. They also serve some very tempting treats in the Strawberry Cafe including strawberries with chocolate sauce and cream. How can you say no to that?
When is the BEST TIME to visit a Cameron Highlands strawberry farm?

You can visit strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands throughout the year. HOWEVER – at some times of the year you may not be able to pick your own strawberries. If the Cameron Highlands is VERY busy during public holidays strawberry picking may not be available. ALSO From July – September there may be low crops of strawberries.
How much does it cost to visit a Cameron Highlands strawberry farm?

It is normally FREE to visit the strawberry farm itself. However, if you wish to pick your own strawberries you will need to pay based on weight. Expect to pay around RM30 – RM40 (around £6 – £8 or $8 – $10) to pick a large box of strawberries (500g). Most snacks and drinks in the strawberry farm cafes range in price from around RM5 – RM25 (£1 – £5 or $1.30 – $7)
