The Cliff Hostel is one of the best cheap hotels in Amman for families. This hostel is excellently located right in the heart of the Amman Old City. You can stroll straight out of your door onto markets, shops, bakeries, and plenty of restaurants. The nightlife in this area is also lovely. The Cliff Hostel is situated at the top of a tall building, which separates it from the noise and the chaos of the streets.
The Cliff Hostel offers spacious triple and quadruple rooms, which are ideal for families. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Rooms are simple with tile floors and a small sink. They also have a shared bathroom with showers and toilets. Cliff Hostel really is a no-frills budget option. This is genuinely one of the cheapest options if you are traveling with kids and need a little more space. It also has the advantage of an excellent location in the heart of the old city.
Although we have mentioned that this is a great option for families, you do need to be careful at this hostel if you have young kids. The main reception area has a balcony with a big drop. We also noticed that some of the window locks in the rooms are not working well, and this can be unnerving if you’re traveling with young kids.
