So if you are looking at private pool options, you need to make sure that the pool is exclusively reserved for you and your room, villa, or suite. In this article, we will only share private pool options that really are reserved for you and your group.
2 Pool size and depth
It is also important to recognize that many private pool options only offer relatively small and shallow swimming pools. If you are planning to use a swimming pool to do lengths or get exercise, then a private pool is probably not going to deliver. Private pools are much better for more relaxing and slow swimming or bathing.
3 Water temperature (shouldn’t be a problem)
In Krabi, all of the hotels with private pools offer outdoor swimming pools. Thailand has a hot tropical climate, and an outdoor swimming pool is a very nice experience. Furthermore, private pool options are relatively limited and can be very popular in this area. So we really do recommend booking as early as possible. If you are unable to commit to your travel days, then we recommend booking with a free cancellation policy. Some hotels and villas include a free cancellation policy as standard. In this case, you may need to pay a little more. A free cancellation policy enables you to make a booking and then cancel it for free and for any reason up to a certain date before you travel. Make a note of this date, and if you are unable to commit to your date, just make sure you cancel before the deadline.
2 Confirm with the hotel
In some cases, hotels and resorts may have a range of different private pool options available. You will generally be able to pick your preferred option when you book. The Pin Boutique Resort is situated in Ao Nang town, a few kilometers from the beachfront area. It is likely to take around 30 minutes to walk to the beach, alternatively, you could rely on local taxis.
2. Anda Sea Tales Resort
Private pool price range: £140 – £450
The Anda Sea Tales Resort is a beautiful hotel with a fresh, clean contemporary style and a range of different rooms. There is only one room option with a private pool, so we recommend booking early if you are keen to stay at this property. The family room with a private pool is genuinely very impressive for the money. It is a spacious suite with two adjoining bedrooms, accommodating up to four people with a large double bed and two single beds.
The Anda Sea Tales Resort is also a tall building and has excellent views of Krabi. The pool is attached to the suite and also comes with a view. The hotel has excellent facilities, including an on-site restaurant, bar, and a rooftop swimming pool with stunning views (this one is not a private pool). This resort is also excellently situated in the heart of Ao Nang town; it is around a 15-minute walk from the beachfront area.

If you are looking for stylish private pool villas situated on a small, beautiful resort close to the beachfront, then check out the Beach House Pool Villas close to the Ao Nam Mao Pier. This property offers stylish and yet affordable private pool villas. It is important to recognize that not all of the villas at this property include a private swimming pool, so you need to make sure you select carefully.

Villa Pimmada is only a 10-minute walk from the landmark night market and beach area. The main disadvantage of Villa Pimmada is the lack of facilities and services that you might get in a luxury resort. If you are looking for a single villa property and you are hoping for space and autonomy, then Villa Pimmada is an outstanding option.
5. The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort
Private pool price range: £300 – £1,100
The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort is amongst the most luxurious resorts in the Krabi area. This beautiful resort is situated on the tranquil Tubkaek beach (around 20 – 30 minutes drive to the north of Ao Nang town). Not all of the options at this resort include a private pool, so you need to make sure that you pick your option carefully when you make your booking. There are two main private pool options at The Tubkaek Boutique Resort.
