35 Relax on Pantai Tropical (tropical beach)

There are plenty of beautiful beaches in Penang. One of our favorite little beaches is nestled into the north coast between Batu Ferringhi and Teluk Bahang. This small and beautiful beach is opposite the Tropical Spice Garden and has become known as Pantai Tropical (or Tropical Beach). This beach is often relatively quiet and is very tranquil. It is also a great location for exploring the wide range of activities in the northwest corner of Penang island. Don’t expect crystal clear waters and snorkeling – the water is not very clear and there is also a risk of jellyfish in the water around Penang. However, this is a very beautiful place to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
How do you get to Pantai Tropical? The 101 bus runs past this beach. Get off at the Tropical Spice garden stop (between Batu Ferringhi and Teluk Bahang)
